OFFICERS' REPORTS

* President

- AI: Darin to email June's docs to Ed & Clayton

* Treasurer
- Okay turnout for September; income continues to lag behind budget.
- YTD income continues well below budget, due to reduced turnouts & cancelled
  rallyes.
- Overdue expenses estimated at over $200:
  - Teresa for  August mailing, July's rallye, September's rallye.
  - Nick for October's awards (not yet ordered).
- YTD, showing $363 over budget, may be more like $160.
- Annual per-member Insurance expense (historically in July or August) has been
  put off. We may be asked to pay soon for half a year.


COMMITTEE REPORTS

* Insurance
- October insurance paid, certificate received
- Details of LPR PCA sponsorship of Toy Rallye not yet straightened out.
- GGLC will sponsor Toy Rallye again.

* Publicity
- Bill did not get a copy of the mailing, even though Paradox sponsored one
  side of the mailing
- No one at the meeting could confirm any details about the mailing

* TSD Update
- Paradox is running 2 trap TSD rallyes in November
- Other RMs are interested (but not committed) for a 2013 TSD series
- Want to get multiple marque clubs involved to get good TSD turnout

NEW BUSINESS

* Membership
- memberhip running from join date through next February discourages joining
- consider making membership run through 1 year after join date
- YTD non-member revenue > 35%
- if we're going to improve this, then we need to do so by October
- if October doesn't fix this, then we could also sell 2013 memberships in
  December 2012

* SAP Gimmicks
- More than 10 years ago, TRC agreed not to allow gimmicks on SAP at certain
  ambiguous intersections.
- AI: Bill to draft updated proposal for rallye rules

* Beginners' Protests
- AI: Cris to codify desire of club to be lenient in interpretting beginners'
  protests if there is some reasonable logic in the protest

* Open Nominations
- President
  - Bill was nominated
  - Darin was nominated

  - Michelle was nominated, and is considering

  - Michelle cannot serve as Treasurer (software issues)
