Nov 20, 2002 TRC General Meeting minutes - Called to order at 1932.

Members present: - Bill Jonesi, Cris Wendt, Steve Watt, Nancy Hanna, Teresa Stefanisko, Nick 
Stefanisko, Pete Soper, Abby Grossman

Minutes from last meeting: - Approved

Officer's reports:
President: - No report.
Vice President: - Not present.
Secretary: - Ballots were mailed, received 6 in return mail.
Treasurer: - Not present.
Insurance Chair:
- Check for Toy Rallye has been sent in.
- Searched for lower-cost insurance with a number of companies, found nothing.  It appears K&K is still 
the only game in town for this kind of insurance.
- Checked with another club, Northwest, and they are paying comparable rates, $114 per rallye for $1M 
liability and $7 per member.  Another club was paying $120 per rallye with $1M liability or $96 per event 
with $500K.  The suggestion was made to check with the Chicago-area rallye club as well.  URLs to be 
provided to Cris by Bill.
- Contacted NASA Racing, haven't heard back from them.
- Will do an estimate for insurance cost budgeting for next meeting.

NCSCC Representative: - NCSCC meeting will be at end of Toy Rallye on 12/1, agenda coming soon.

Last Event(s) Report: - One Ringy Ding had 20 cars, 15 member, 5 non-member.  Lots of protests filed, 
most rejected by the committee.  General agreement that it was a great rallye!  Darin opines that maybe 
fewer CP crews would be a good idea in the future.

It was moved and seconded that the memberships for Darin and Michelle, and Abby be extended to 
expire on 2/28/03.  The motion passed without objection. (This would put them in synch with the annual 
membership rallye and the majority of members, bj)

Next Event(s) Report:
- December 1 is Toy Rallye, TRC chairing, maybe Willie.  Golden Gate Lotus will provide staffing.  Nick 
will donate the awards now that he's seen some sign of payment from TRC.
- February = Cris Wendt's, Flyers to be at Toy Rallye, Super Bowl theme
- March = Steve Watt's School Rallye
- April = Stefaniskos
- May 1 = Darin
- May 15 = May Flowers, Jeff
- June = (tentative) Bess'?
- Nov = Darin
- Jan '04 = Abby

Open Dates:
- 8/2, 9/6, 10/4

Old Business:
- The membership list still needs to be synchronized between the secretary and the treasurer.  Still 
waiting on Willie to get to this.  The secretary's list was used for the election mailing.
- Incorporation question still pending, Treasurer not present.
- Backup gimmick (A/B) rallye still being worked on, should be done Real Soon Now. Cris will precheck.
- TRC Election results:
    President - Pete Soper
    Vice President - Darin McGrew
    Secretary - Steve Watt
    Treasurer - Cris Wendt
    Board Members - Jeff Trimble, Nancy Hanna, Abby Grossman, Bill Jonesi
- Reno Rallye tentatively scheduled for April, will be decided by Thanksgiving.  Will run NE of Reno if it 
happens.
- Earthquake / Aftershock SCCA Nationals 4/19 & 20.  TRC to provide 3 crews.
- Discussed logistics of turning off REWIND-5, make sure it's removed from all Flyers, press 
announcements, etc.  It's officially gone.

New Business:
- Moved and seconded:  Secretary to draft a letter to outgoing Treasurer requesting return on or before 
12/18 of the checks, ledger, moneys, incorporation papers and any other official materials relating to 
the operations of The Rallye Club.  We will arrange to pick them up, meet wherever, etc.  Electronic 
copy to be sent along with backup certified paper to home address.
- Should payment on the wayward check from the registrar for the final cash of Monster Mash be 
stopped?  Not for now.

Upcoming Events:
12/1 Toy Rallye (three days after Thanksgiving)
12/12-15 Ramada Express International Rally and JAOS Adventure Rallye in Laughlin, NV
